Stephen CHRISTENSEN, vice president of Concordia University, Irvine, visited HENU on the morning of September 18. Vice president SUN JunJian, who is also a member HENU CPC party committee, met visitors at International Exchange Meeting Room in Minglun Campus.

SUN Junjian extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the long history of Henan University. The new planning concept and development ideas for international cooperation after the school entered the ranks of “double first-rate” universities were presented by him. He also claimed that the two sides would have a deep-going communication and discussion on optimizing cooperation in running schools and expanding exchanges between teachers and students.

Stephen CHRISTENSEN introduced the status and advantages of the Concord University, Irvine, on student development, professional setting, and international cooperation, etc. He was sure that the two universities would be able to further deepen exchanges and find opportunities for cooperation. He would strive to make efforts to cooperative in-depth in teacher and student exchanging, academic competitions and E-learning and served to cultivate more outstanding students with international perspective. Afterwards, the two sides conducted in-depth explorations on the introduction of foreign innovation and entrepreneurship courses, teacher exchanges, MBA 1+1 programs and undergraduate summer camps.
