XU Shaokang Visits Colleges and Universities in France and Britain

At the invitation of University of Cergy-Pontoise in France, University of Westminster and Lucy Cavendish College of University of Cambridge in Britain, from November 12th to 19th, a delegation of 6 people led by XU Shaokang, HENU Party committee member and vice president, carried out friendly visits to the universities above.

At University of Cergy-Pontoise, XU Shaokang received a warm reception from Hung T. DIEP, vice president of international affairs. The two universities agreed that University of Cergy-Pontoise would provides 6 to 10 quota of tuition free exchange undergraduates of French major for HENU every year. They also achieved consensus on a number of cooperative projects.

At the Regent Campus of University of Westminster in London, XU Shaokang had fruitful talks with Gerda WIELANDER, director of Social Sciences and Humanities, Geoffrey DAVIES, dean of Westminster School of Media, Arts and Design, Jon PIKE, dean of Westminster Business School, and Ms. Zuzana HEINCOVA from International Affairs Office.

At the Lucy Cavendish College of University of Cambridge, XU Shaokang had talks with Christine HOUGHTON, executive director of the University, and MS. Katrina Rust from Department of International Affairs. Christine HOUGHTON said that University of Cambridge would provide an opportunity for short-term visiting and training for excellent teachers and students of Henan University. The specific project execution agreement would be provided to Henan University after the completion of the College’s deliberation.
