The “111 Plan” of HENU was Officially Launched


On May 5th, HENU held the launching ceremony of Crop Stress Biology Innovative Intelligence Base and the appointment ceremony of overseas academic masters. Professor David William GALBRAITH from University of Arizona was appointed as the overseas academic master of the intelligence base. HENU vice president Prof. SONG Chunpeng, head of the intelligence base, attended the ceremony. This marked the “111 Plan” of HENU was officially launched.

Professor GALBRAITH said he was very pleased to be hired as an overseas expert of the “111 Plan”, and he was willing to establish long-term cooperative relations with HENU, further realizing the comprehensive cooperation between the two sides in the fields of scientific research, personnel training and academic exchanges.

It was reported that Professor GALBRAITH came to HENU regularly every year, working in application and cooperation of international cooperation projects, joint training of young scientific research backbones and graduate students and other aspects.

David W. GALBRAITH, professor of Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Environment of Department of Plant Science, University of Arizona, serves as an editor in chief of Frontiers in Genomic Assay Technology. He has published many academic papers in Nature, Science, PNAS, Plant Cell and other international famous journals.
