HENU Alumni HE Qisheng Wins the Eighth “National Top Ten Outstanding Young Jurists”


On March 2nd, China Law Society released the results of the eighth “National Top Ten Outstanding Young Jurists” nominated and finalist award winner. HENU alumni, Wuhan University professor HE Qisheng won the award.

Professor HE Qisheng, Ph.D., doctoral tutor, was born in Gushi, Henan Province in 1974. He studied in HENU from 1992 to 1996 and got a Bachelor of Law. Now he is the Luojia distinguished professor of Wuhan University, deputy director of the Institute of International Law and CIETAC arbitrator who has published 18 papers in English, more than 60 papers in Chinese, and 8 published works, including 4 monographs. He has participated in the negotiations and consultations of Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments, Online Dispute Resolution for Cross-Border Electronic Commercetransactions: Draft Procedural Rules, Convention on the Use of Electronic Communications in International Contracts and other international instruments, as well as committee of the Hague Conference on private international law Convention on the Abolition of Certification, Hague Service Convention, Hague Evidence Convention, Convention on Judicial Relief, etc.
